Photo Recipe - Add a vintage look to a photo
While visiting friends in Tahoe, I looked out the window to see this light and knew I needed a photo of it. The original is okay, but I knew it had potential.
After doing basic adjustments on the photo, I added a light vignette overlay, which darkens the edges just a little bit:
Next I added The Chocolate Mint veil from the Vintage veil set in the Botanical Veils collection, which adds a little color and makes the image a little softer:
Next I added two textures from the Simplicity Collection - Picnic (60% opacity) and History (50% opacity) and ended up with this as my final result:
