Photo Recipe - Adding Seasons to a Photo
I love horses. I think they are amazing animals and love to photograph them any chance I get. While visiting North Carolina last fall, I ran across this beautiful horse and loved the setting. The only problem was that it was fall and the leaves really hadn't changed much. We were only there for the weekend, so I decided to use some of the amazing tools that Love That Shot has to give this image more of a fall feel.
Starting out, this was my image....
It's nice, but I would have loved one with rich reds and yellows. In using the Veils and Textures, I quickly and easily added a little pizzazz. First off, I added the Gravity Veil from the Simplicity Collection and adjusted the opacity to 51%. It just gave a slight tint that made this feel more like autumn to me. Then I decided to add a texture. I'm not big on obvious textures, but love the being able to change the opacity to make it subtle. I added Treviso from the Olde World 4 Collection at 49% to get my final image:
And it's as simple as that! To check out Love That Shot's collections of veils and textures, click here to visit their website! If you would like to see more of my work, please visit my website at www.stacywhitephotography.com
